On my forums you can change your name.

You can only do that on proboards forums
i.e. Forums like elites and bows
Forumwise is strict and doesn't let you do that for fear of people changing their forum name to something like "Lawl Buttz" |

Whether or not there is a setting that'll allow people to do it is irrelevant. |
